Aerobic Exercise

Aerobic exercise is the foundation of general fitness. In order to avoid addiction, you need to vary them constantly. One of Lee’s favorite exercises was running. While running, he was constantly changing the pace, then accelerating, then slowing down, sometimes switching to a step at all. Besides running he worked on endurance on a stationary bicycle. Often he got on a stationary bicycle right after running.

Skipping rope

Bruce Lee just adored skipping rope. This exercise will not only develop endurance, but also make your body agile. More recently, the world’s leading physiologists have proven that jumping on a rope is much more effective than jogging. A half hour of jogging is equivalent to ten minutes of skipping. Both of these exercises are very beneficial for supporting the cardiovascular system in proper condition.

Sparring

Shadow combat is a great exercise for developing speed and agility. To perform it competently, you need to relax your body, and the movements should be smooth and easy. To begin with, concentration on the movement is necessary, you should feel lightness in your legs. After a certain period of time, you need to work harder and faster. Shadow fighting is the perfect warm-up before a workout.

Just imagine that you have your nemesis in front of you and you are going to deal with him. Thanks to your imagination, you will have a real fight in front of your eyes. In addition to endurance, this exercise significantly increases speed, and also helps to develop muscle memory more effectively.

A lot of beginners are characterized by great laziness to force themselves to work at maximum conditioning. Only hard exercise will allow you to become more enduring. It is necessary to be on the verge of “exhaustion.” The best methods of developing endurance are the alternation of exercises with normal and high intensity. The load should increase gradually, without jumps.
